Starting as a teenage batboy and rising to Vice President, Kyle operated at every level of a Major League organization — giving him an unmatched understanding of the immigration and travel challenges professional teams face every day.

Gameday Operations

Started at Kauffman Stadium as a stadium usher, eventually serving as on-field batboy and clubhouse attendant across ten seasons — learning the rhythms, demands, and culture of professional baseball from the ground up.

Baseball Operations

Entered the front office during a transition in organizational leadership, rising from intern to Baseball Operations Assistant. Managed Major League daily operations including roster and statistical analysis, professional scouting coordination, and the baseball operations internship program.

Player Development & Scouting

Directed the Royals' international operations, overseeing the daily operations of the club's Academy in the Dominican Republic and administering the global immigration program for all international players and staff. Supported amateur scouting, execution of the MLB Draft, and minor league player development programs.

Director, Baseball Administration

Successfully fundraised $22 million in public and private contributions toward the development of the Kansas City MLB Urban Youth Academy. Led the Academy's design and construction while serving as the organization's public spokesperson. Served on the design and construction committee for an $8 million renovation of the club's Spring Training facility in Surprise, Arizona.

Sr. Director, Baseball Operations

Worked alongside Assistant General Managers on personnel management, player contract negotiations, and arbitration case management. Led the Baseball Operations Department's planning and transition for new ownership following the $1 billion purchase of the team in 2019. Served as the club's Infection Control Prevention Coordinator, leading the return-to-play program and the return of fans to Kauffman Stadium.

Vice President, Community Impact

Strategically led the Royals' community engagement, uniting the Royals brand, Royals Charities, the Kansas City MLB Urban Youth Academy, and the Royals Hall of Fame. Managed civic partnerships and co-led lobbying efforts at state and local government levels. Led the organization to its first-ever Allan H. Selig Award for Philanthropic Excellence in November 2021.

Kyle spent 26 years with the Kansas City Royals, rising from batboy to Vice President. His career spanned every level of baseball operations — from scouting and player development to contract negotiations, international operations, and community impact.

Kyle created and managed the Royals' global immigration program, processing work authorizations for hundreds of international players and staff. He knows the pain of managing immigration compliance in professional sports because he lived it every day for over two decades.
